There is no size limits are specified but editors possess the right to inquire the reduction of manuscripts of excessive length. It is possible to include additional figures, tables, computer programs, videos, photographs as electronic supplementary information (ESI).

Short communications should comprise an original and concise research of limited extent: maximum 10 full manuscript pages or 2,500 words in total. However, materials, methods, and procedures must be complete. The manuscript should comprise an abstract, a single section containing all other parts, and a list of references. They can be processed and published quicker than full-length original research papers and reviews if authors appropriately explain the significance of urgent publication upon submission of their manuscripts.

Reviews should be an authoritative, critical, and comprehensive assessment of research conducted in preceding years in the fields of vital interest. Reviews could be submitted directly with no preceding consent from Editor-in-Chief. The review should not exceed 30 full manuscript pages or 12,000 words. Prospective authors of long review manuscripts should formerly send an outline of the planned review article to the Editor-in-Chief with a brief cover letter explaining why the topic might be of broad interest or importance.
