Editorial Policies
Authors are expected to be responsible for the presented research data and information in their respective manuscript. In the received manuscripts, the presented research data and information are expected to be original outcomes of their research, and proper/relevant citations must be considered.
Publication Ethics Statement
Journal of Textiles, Coloration and Polymer Science is following the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We fully adhere to its Code of Conduct and to its Best Practice Guidelines.
The editors of this journal take the responsibility to enforce a rigorous peer-review process together with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure to add high quality scientific works to the field of scholarly publication. Unfortunately, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, image manipulation, inappropriate authorship credit, and the like, do arise. The editors of journal take such publishing ethics issues very seriously and are trained to proceed in such cases with a zero tolerance policy.
Review process
Manuscripts are assessed on the base of presenting new insight(s) into the explored topic. It is assumed, upon submission, that all authors included on a manuscript have approved such submission. Received manuscripts will firstly be evaluated by the editorial board and those lacking enough research ground or novelty may be rejected without external reviewing process. The external review procedure usually takes an average of 1-2 months.
Permissions
when submitting manuscripts, authors willing to include previously published objects, such as figures, tables, or text, are required to attach permission(s) from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online versions. Any received manuscript lacking such evidence of permission(s) will be assumed to originate from authors.
Conflict of interest and changes to authorship
Requesting changes in authorship is not permitted once the manuscript is accepted. Authors should declare that there is no conflict of interest by stating “Authors declare no conflict of interest” in the cover letter. It is mandatory to include, in the submitted manuscript, everyone (authors) who performed a considerable contribution towards the achievement of the research work. Any financial support towards the completion of the manuscript must be acknowledged.
